MPhil Pharmacology
Ziauddin University (ZU) is well-known for its reputation in research excellence, innovation, and quality of education. The postgraduate program in Health Sciences started at ZU in 1997.
The department teaching the stated subject is focused on training the graduating medical professionals in matters of the laws related to medical practice and to develop ethical insight and expertise so that, the overall standard of care may achieve excellence while aiding the legal system, in a developing country like Pakistan.

OR
- Valid GAT (NTS) with a minimum score of 50%.
- Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed.

Introduction
The aim of the MPhil Pharmacology program is to improve students’ knowledge of medical therapeutics, research standards and medical education. Our mechanistic based research studies help in the exploration of new drugs to address the common community related health problems, thus assuring their translational significance.
Our program enhances and sustains high impact curricular innovations and dissemination of new knowledge through evidence-based research.
An essential component of our program helps students to conduct an original research project, analyze data and write original articles for publication in high impact journals.
Students receive essential training in research ethics, professionalism and communication.
