On October 29, 2024, Ziauddin University’s College of Public Health and DKT Pakistan formalised a collaborative partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Karachi. The MoU was signed by Dr. Abbas Zafar, Vice Chancellor of Ziauddin University, and Mr. George Papachristou, Regional Director of DKT Pakistan, with Dr. Shahkamal, Principal of the College of Public Health, also present at the ceremony.
This strategic partnership aims to advance Family Planning (FP) and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services throughout Sindh. By combining the expertise of both organisations, the collaboration seeks to expand healthcare access, enhance service delivery, and foster positive behavioural change, particularly in underserved and rural communities.
