Ziauddin University

Biotechnology is a futuristic and highly interdisciplinary field that deals with chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics and engineering concepts that are pooled together to produce products that advance healthcare, medicine, agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals and environment control. It is one of the most progressive, advanced, evolving and fruitful branches of science and technology. Biotechnology is not restricted as a single discipline but includes many interdisciplinary fields of science rapidly gaining significance and opportunities for youngsters who want to explore the new frontiers of science. The MPhil Programme in Biotechnology will empower students to become highly qualified scholars and professionals who would serve efficiently in academia and other relevant companies/organisations through their quality education along with the analytical and research skills in the specialised areas of Biotechnology.

Mission

The biotechnology programme aims to impart quality education and developing scientific insights among graduates for nurturing the global needs of research and technology.
